Exceptional Experience with Amazing Staff
My stay was simply delightful, highlighted by the serene gardens that provided a peaceful atmosphere. The top-notch breakfast buffets featured an extensive array of delicious options, making each morning a treat. The staff went above and beyond, making me feel pampered throughout the visit. I highly recommend trying the local thermal pools, which were an extra luxurious touch during my stay. The only drawback was the limited dinner hours, which required some planning on our part.

The stay at Botania was delightful. The gorgeous grounds were really well-kept, with vibrant gardens that felt like a tranquil escape. I spent hours by the beautiful pool area, soaking in the sun and enjoying the warmth of the heated pool. The Deluxe Room offered an amazing view, not to mention a spacious terrace that was perfect for relaxation. Meals at the Il Mirto restaurant were truly impressive. the vegetarian options were both creative and delicious. It’s notable that the hotel utilizes fresh ingredients from their own garden, which made a positive impact on the dining experience. The staff were all welcoming, especially Lorenzo at the front desk who was incredibly resourceful. A special highlight was the fantastic breakfast spread, but the breakfast box we received on our departure didn’t match the quality we had grown to expect. One downside was the limited dining hours. after lunch ended at 14:30, we had to wait until dinner at 20:00, which was a bit inconvenient. while the evening menu was decent, some dishes felt repetitive after a few nights. the lack of direct beach access may be a drawback for those looking for more convenient beach days, though nearby beaches are accessible with a quick walk. For the price of dining in-house, I expected more variety in the menu and lower prices for wine, which were quite high. Still, these issues don’t overshadow the lovely experience. Taking a half-day trip around the island was a must!

The serene gardens provided a perfect escape, entirely designed for relaxation. Each morning began with a bountiful breakfast spread, including fresh pastries and juices that started the day beautifully. The stunning sea view from my room was a delightful highlight, making my stay extra special.

Relaxing vibes in Ischia 🌴
Those little thermal pools? Absolute bliss! We ended up spending all our time there, like, had them to ourselves. The food? Lekker beyond belief, had to stay in for every meal instead of going out. Staff were so friendly, really made us feel special.

The number of bees in the breakfast area was pretty distracting—took away from an otherwise tasty morning spread. I also found room service prices outrageous, especially with a hefty €25 service charge on top of the food costs. There’s a lack of direct beach access, which could be a dealbreaker for beach enthusiasts, and the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent at times, making it tricky to stay connected. Plus, with limited restaurant hours and a repetitive dinner menu, it felt like a bit more variety could really elevate the stay.
